ByteToText (byte)

Basic and Crystal syntax.

Arguments

byte is the size of a message in bytes.

Returns

Number

Action

This function will return the size of a message in the "appropriate" unit.

• If the argument is less than 1024, the result will be in bytes.
• If the argument is between 1024 and 1048576, then the result will be in kilobytes.
• Otherwise, the result will be in megabytes.

Examples

The following examples are applicable to both Basic and Crystal syntax:

ByteToText(1000)

Returns "1000 bytes".

ByteToText(345555)

Returns "337KB".
